Sera Koi Protect 500ml

Sera Koi Protect (500ml) is a specialized water conditioner designed to transform aggressive tap water into safe, healthy, and fish-friendly pond water. This 500ml bottle is sufficient to treat up to 10,000 liters of water. Primary Functions Neutralizes Pollutants: Instantly removes chlorine and chloramines and binds toxic heavy metals like copper or lead. Ammonia Protection: Helps prevent dangerous ammonia spikes that can be toxic to fish. Fish Wellness: Contains a pH-neutral formula that protects the delicate mucous membranes and gills of Koi and other ornamental pond fish. Mineral Enrichment: Adds essential bioavailable minerals including Calcium (for bone structure), Magnesium (for muscle growth), Manganese (for fertility), and Iodine (for disease resistance). Usage & Dosage Instructions You can use the cap as a measure (one full cap = 10ml). Situation Dosage New Pond Setup 50ml per 1,000 liters of fresh water Partial Water Change 50ml per 1,000 liters of newly added water After Heavy Rain 50ml per 5,000 liters of pond water Transport/Stress Increase dosage as required to protect the slime coat Application Tips Distribution: Pour the liquid evenly across the pond surface or near a filter outlet for quick mixing. Rainy Seasons: In areas like Nairobi with heavy seasonal rains, using Koi Protect after a downpour helps bind floating dead algae and organic particles, which are then more easily removed by your filter. Crystal Clear Water: By binding particles, it helps maintain water clarity and reduces the burden on your filtration system.
